“As an Organisational Psychologist I thrive on helping organisations and individuals to reach their goals. I accomplish this by building strong relationships and listening carefully to the needs of clients. I use relevant scientifically based interventions and assessments and go the extra mile to ensure tangible outcomes are achieved.”
How Did I get Here?
My interest in human performance started as a competitive swimmer and shifted into the sports coaching arena. I studied psychology and sports coaching at university before specialising in Industrial and Organisational Psychology in Wellington, New Zealand. My hair was quickly cut short after graduating university once I enlisted in the New Zealand Army as a Trainee Organisational Psychologist in Wellington. My full and part time involvement within the military has now spanned over 10 years and offered amazing professional learning experiences, exciting opportunities and great friendships. In a commercial environment, I led the organisational psychology offerings for a Wellington based HR firm and for the previous 8 years I have worked with a wide range of private, public and not for profit organisations as Organisational Psychologist / Co-Partner within my own firm.
My Life Outside
When I am not working I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy keeping fit through a range of sporting endeavours and on those rare occasions when the Wellington wind stops blowing you may find me out fishing.
